Max reading a book

Max now likes to be read to about an hour a day. It's one of our most effective ways of calming him down when he's upset. His strong preference is for books with tons of sounds (these days babies' books have lots of things you can press to get sounds.) Regular books, even with lots of pictures, even really cool ones like Dr. Seuss, are a dicier proposition right now. Max makes his preferences pretty clear and they're pretty consistent - if he doesn't like a book today, he probably won't like it tomorrow.
